My sister was really selfish, and held him skin to skin for about 30 minutes ;)

I had to take a picture...it's the first time my speedometer has been at 120, and the last...

Of course, I wasn't really going that fast.  The "cluster" in my car went out...costing me a hefty repair fee.  Of course, I called for service 1 day after my extended warranty ran out...

Kurt Bestor

I had the opportunity to attend the Kurt Bestor Benefit Concert for McKay Dee Hospital again this year.  I had to go alone, since my husband was out of town.  It was a really fun evening, even alone.  My Grans was my "date", the food was delicious, and the concert....

I laughed so much.  His special guest was singer/songwriter Anna Wilson, who was amazing as well.  I missed my honey, but I had a great time!

Girls Lunch

Cole went to San Diego for work this week.  I was doing some Christmas shopping, and texted my friend Rachael to see if she and her daughter (Talia's best friend Kimmy) wanted to meet us at Zupas for lunch...yum!

Lunch was fun, and shopping after was fun until the girls gave me an anxiety attack by running off in the store and hiding so I couldn't find them....I felt bad about cutting the afternoon short, but I needed Talia to know that running away was not acceptable behavior.  I think she learned her lesson, she spent the afternoon apologizing for running away...

Storm Damage

The wind storm on December 1st was the first time that I've actually been anxious during a windstorm.  I guess we fared pretty good...we lost some shingles off the back and sides of our roof, our garage door blew in, the chimney cover tore half off, and our trampoline...well...

We feel really blessed.  My wonderful father in law was able to do some repairs to get us through, and our insurance was very good with the damage estimates.  It was inconvenient not to have a garage for a few weeks, but my new garage door is great!
