Swimming fun with friends...
I invited my good friend Rachael to bring her kids swimming with us on Wednesday. We had a great time...

Swimming, FINALLY!
Everyone's been complaining about the unpredictable weather this year, and although I really do love the rain...I don't like my children so much after they've been housetrapped for awhile because of it. So I was really glad when we finally had some days that we could swim....
It never takes too long before the football comes out....all the boys love to try to catch it from the diving board!
The girls love to play together...and they love it when Cole "rides" them around in the chair...
Hunter still likes to hang out by the steps...
This is what I got when I asked him to smile nicely...stinker :)

My children are Dolphins....
I used to say that my kids were fish. All 3 of them Love the water, and have almost since birth. However, a thought occured to me this week...they don't just love being in the water, they love PLAYING in the water. Thus, they are dolphins...
Talia can now jump off the diving board and swim to the side of the pool without her swim vest (under very close supervision :)). We think she's the youngest of the grandchildren ever to do that...although part of that is probably that we didn't LET some of the older ones even try!
The Men have always thrown the little kids...we've been sad this year, all the boys are now too big, but the little girls love it!

Summer is for Playing....
So, I have/had 3 days off in a row this week. The weather is finally good. I must confess, my housework has been abandoned so that we can finally have some outdoor playtime...it's been a fun few days.
(I did buckle down and do my housework this morning...)

More Lagoon....
We enjoyed locking our children up in the old Lagoon holding cells...we debated leaving them there, but reluctantly decided against it ;)
My boys were impressed I went on the Log Flume with them...I'm not a huge fan of water rides, I don't enjoy walking around Lagoon all wet.
Usually Cole is the one who gets soaked on Rattlesnake Rapids, but this time the boys got DRENCHED!
