Credit....

To all my inspirations....

First, Mindy did this cute shirt for her daughter's birthday. It got me thinking...I'd love to do something fun like that for my baby's 3rd (cue the tears) birthday. I don't sew, don't even own a sewing machine, so I had to come up with a way that I could make it....

From March 2010
This is the shirt I picked. I'm going to play with some designs with my cricut, then use the fabric paint. Although I might get really brave and attempt to hand sew some beads onto the front like Mindy did to make sprinkles on the cupcake....

Then, I was reading Rachael's Craft blog, and saw these darling skirts and had the idea...what if I found some cute material that matched the shirt, then she could have a whole new outfit especially for her birthday. I asked Rachael if she would make them if I got her the material. She went above and beyond, and I am THRILLED With the results...

From March 2010

2 skirts, and matching purses...I'm so excited! It almost makes it ok that my last baby is turning 3....

Thanks for all your help and good ideas girls...YOU both ROCK!!!

I like the shirt, It's cute! I was wondering what you had in mind in the way of a shirt. But when you get to talking somethings do tend to get forgotten (especially for me).

I would have made more, but I couldn't think of what else to do at the time. And I have tons more to get done this month. I didn't want to just hang on to your stuff waiting for inspiration to come.

Let me know if you brainstorm anything else you want made? I'm totally on a sewing kick.

Hey, I just clicked on the shirt picture to view it closer, when it took me to your Picasa photo library. I just saw this picture.

I hope it doesn't bring on the water works. I just can't believe how much she has changed, and how much she still looks the same.

Let's try this again. Cute stuff for Talia! She's such a doll.

Anyway, I remember you getting in sooooo much trouble for your hair back in the day.

I notice you're wanting to go to the blogger conference. I'm game if I can get the $. Let me know.
