Made a new beaded watchband...
(it's actually shades of purple, the pic didn't turn out that great). Then, I decided to try my hand at making a tutu for my princess...
I'm really happy with how it turned out. I modified some designs I had seen, made it a velcro closure instead of tie...if you want specifics on how I did it, check here
Talia loves it, but couldn't quite believe it was for her to play with...
Other happenings...Talia's new favorite phrase is "Sing me a book". It's really cute, and it's true...you use a singsong voice when reading to toddlers. We're singing books a lot around here right now...
It's the second day of summer vacation, and the boys are doing ok. Despite the fact that they want to play the PS3 24/7, (I've had to lay down the law on that one), they are really being pretty good. And this morning they did their reading without me having to nag them about it.
Hopefully it continues.

Jesse would play games all day if I would let him. I have to do the same thing you just described with him every summer. They never grow out of it. :( Sorry if this is bad news for you.
